What's the difference of the 3 colored balls

3. Pro Training (Inert) Projectiles: These rounds are designed for practice and training. They are inert, meaning they contain no chemical irritants or marking agents, allowing users to safely train and improve accuracy without the effects of pepper or tear gas. 

Are Byrna Launchers considered a firearm?

No, the launchers work off of compressed co2 cartridges and are fall under the same classification as paintball or airsoft guns

Do I need a permit or background check

No Permits or Background checks are required to purchase a Byrna Launcher

How do Byrna Launchers work

Byrna Launchers are powered by compressed air(co2), the handhelds shoot .68 round kinectic and/or chemical irritant projectiles that can disable a threat fromup to 60 feet away.  They are incredibly powerful and non-lethal self-defense weapon.

We are in TN. I have a carry permit for gun. Is the SD cartridge only for NON law enforcement? Are we not allowed to carry in all states? Can a NON-law enforcement carry and use the more powerful launcher? Do you HAVE A VIDEO we can watch?

Byrna's are legal in all 50 states.  There may be stipulations on non-lethal launchers in some cities and we suggest you check with local authorities.  The LE is available to purchase for anyone.

Is your launcher product legal in the state of Maine? And are they legal or lawfully at the federal level for any one convicted of a misdemeanor with a punishment over one year?

They are legal in Maine.  You may want to check with your local authorities on legal advice for a non-lethal launcher.

What does the LE and SD stand for?

The LE is the more powerful launcher which takes the 12 gram co2 cartridge …..Law Enforcement 

The SD takes the 8 gram cartridge and is less powerful 

The both use the same projectiles

What is kinetic

It’s a non lethal ball that acts as a deterrent .  The ball is similar to a heavy rubber ball that can be reused 

Can a felon own a byrna

The non-lethal launchers are legal in all 50 states but we suggest you check with your own city for regulations on Felons.  

Are they legal in Georgia and Florida?

Yes  they are 

Do new york city has striction ?

The launchers are legal.  The only restriction at the moment is the pepper products.

Are they legal in Delaware and what are the restrictions

Yes, they are legal in Delaware .  No restrictions on projectiles at the moment .  Some states restrict pepper projectiles depending on who is in office . 

Does the Byrna LE come with 8oz or 12oz co2 canisters?

The LE comes with 12oz CO2 canisters.

Are they legal to carry in California with a felony conviction

They are legal in California and are a non lethal launcher. We suggest you check your area on felony carry .  It may vary by city . 

Does Tennessee have any restrictions?

No restrictions for Tennessee on any Byrna

Is there a gun that shoots pellet bear spray?

We have the kinetic and pepper spray in projectiles for the Byrna

Is it legal in New Jersey?

Yes they are legal in all 50 states. The only restrictions are on the pepper and mace balls.

Do you ship to Hawaii

We cannot ship Bryna to Hawaii due to Hawaii State restrictions. You can purchase them locally though.
