  • Will this charge two 12 volt batteries mounted in series

    Yes — but only if you wire the charger’s two isolated outputs in series (per the manual) so the charger presents 24 V across the battery string. If the batteries are left tied together in series you must not try to charge each battery with a single 12 V bank without changing the wiring; instead either charge the pair as a 24 V system (series the charger outputs) or reconfigure the batteries to two separate 12 V banks and charge each battery with one bank.
