Steel Weld™ Epoxy - GREY - 1oz

Versatile, easy-to-use, multi-metal epoxy adhesive is two-part adhesive and filler system that eliminates the need for welding or brazing. Sets in four minutes, no clamping needed. Dark grey appearance. Fills gaps and will not shrink. When cured, can be drilled, sanded, threaded or filed. Resistant to water and solvents. Temperature range -60°F to 300°F (-51°C to 149°C). Permanent strength up to 4500 PSI. 

Applications:

  • Automobile - Suggested Applications: Ideal for complex, multi-piece assemblies. Bonds rigid materials including aluminum, brass, chrome, copper, iron, stainless steel, steel. Use to seal welded seams, fills metal cracks, mount metal components.

Directions:

1. PROTECT: Work area must be protected from accidental spills. 2. CLEAN: Surfaces must be clean, dryand free of grease and oil. 3. PREPARE: Roughen smooth surfaces (using abrasives or sandpaper). 4. OPENPACKAGE: Remove tubes and use a sharp point to puncture seals. 5. DISPENSE: Squeeze tubes to dispense resin andhardener. Thoroughly mix resin & hardener on a clean, discardable surface for 2 to 3 minutes until evenly colored.6. APPLICATION: Apply a small amount of mixture to both surfaces and assemble parts immediately (working time isapproximately 4-6 min.). Remove any excess epoxy immediately. 7. CURE TIME: Usable strength is reached in fourhours at 72°F (22°C). Cooler temperatures may require longer set time. 8. CLEAN-UP: Attach nozzle caps and store inmolded tray. NOTE: Adhesive will not bond most polyethylene or polypropylene plastics.
